“Brangelina Buries the Hatchet: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Opt for Amicable Resolution to Resolve $350 Million Legal Battle Over French Vineyard”

The divorce battle between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has been one of the most bitter and drawn-out celebrity splits in recent memory. However, there now appears to be a glimmer of hope on the horizon. Just two weeks after Jolie filed legal documents accusing Pitt of bullying and other illegal behavior in relation to their shared vineyard, it has been revealed that both parties have agreed to mediation as a way of resolving their issues. Rather than taking the matter to court, they have opted for this alternative method of dispute resolution. Additionally, Jolie has expressed her willingness to participate in a settlement conference.

On May 24, 2007, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt attended the Cannes Film Festival. They made a stunning appearance together and turned heads with their glamour and sophistication. The event was a great opportunity for them to showcase their love and their fashion sense. It’s no wonder that they were one of the most talked-about couples at the festival.

The beautiful Chateau Miraval, where the famous couple exchanged their vows in 2014, is currently estimated to be worth a staggering $164 million.

Newly filed documents regarding the vineyard dispute reveal that actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have agreed to mediation as a means of resolving their conflict over Chateau Miraval. This decision means that the matter will not go to court. As part of his efforts to protect the successful winery business that he has built in partnership with French wine-makers Famille Perrin, Pitt has appointed a provisional administrator for Chateau Miraval. This move is intended to facilitate negotiations between Pitt and Nouvel, the investment company that Jolie sold her share of the vineyard to and which is controlled by Stoli boss Yuri Shefler. The appointment of an independent figure to assess the winery and its operations will allow the business to continue to operate while the dispute is ongoing. The couple purchased Chateau Miraval, a large estate in southern France, in 2008.

After winning an award for its rose, Pitt visited the vineyard to examine the vines.

During the launch of his skincare line, Le Domaine, the actor was present at Chateau Miraval where he had collaborated with the Perrin family to start a wine-making business in 2013. The property also holds significance as the couple got married there in 2014. With the success of their Chateau Miraval Rose, which was even ranked as the best in the world by experts, profits grew from €1 million in 2013 to €15 million in 2022. However, after an incident between Pitt, Jolie, and their children on a flight from France to California in 2016, Jolie filed for divorce. Disputes over custody of their children and finances have continued ever since. In April 2019, their divorce was bifurcated, dissolving the marriage while allowing other matters to continue. Recently, in 2022, Pitt took legal action against Jolie for selling her interest in Chateau Miraval to Russian oligarch Shefler, as he had wanted to buy her out himself. He is now seeking to have the sale reversed.

Back in 2014, Pitt and Jolie were spotted in Kensington, West London, enjoying themselves. However, two years later, the couple filed for divorce and went their separate ways.

Legal documents have described actor Brad Pitt, aged 59, as a “bully” who acted irrationally and illegally over a vineyard. In contrast, lawyers for Nouvel have accused Pitt of “looting” the wine business and using it for “vanity projects”. They are seeking $350 million in damages. Pitt has been in the UK this summer filming Apex, but due to an actors’ strike, he has moved on. The vineyard was where Pitt and his ex-wife Angelina Jolie were married, and lawyers claim Jolie had to sell the business after their drunken row on a private plane in 2016 left her uncomfortable being involved in alcohol sales.

Legal documents filed in the custody battle between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt revealed shocking allegations against Pitt, including accusations of gaslighting and using a deal with Jolie over an asset as leverage. The papers also claimed that their children were traumatized by an incident on a plane and have not been able to go back to Chateau Miraval since. The filings alleged that Pitt’s tarnished image posed a risk to the brand, not Shefler’s association with Stoli. Moreover, the documents claimed that the Chateau Miraval company made no repayment of $40 million of loans, and Jolie sought to sell the company for liquidity despite her successful career in Hollywood.
